Entrepreneurial women all over the world are abandoning outdated cultural conceptions of what it means to be a professional woman. At the same time, the fashion industry hasn’t quite adjusted to the need for functionality without giving up on form and self-expression. KOVASKY - the latest collection by New York-based designer Minika Ko - has met that challenge with stunning results for all the globetrotters who need stylish but low maintenance clothes as well as the multi-hyphenates who desire pieces that can keep up with their fast-paced schedules. Opera singer Anna Cley is one of many women who have quickly gravitated to the KOVASKY line for its razor sharp improvement on timeless silhouettes. Her life is like something out of a film: she became a rocket scientist only to pivot 180 degrees to then become a musician. Once she achieved success as a performer and entrepreneur, she gave back by starting her own nonprofit (Vocalise) that focuses on empowering trauma survivors. As such, the Coco LBD and Ren Racer dresses she wears are reflective of her classic background but with a fierce twist.
